interesting idea.

To observe differences / changes I use tools that are specially designed for this purpose. For example the “Website Watcher” for Windows or “WebAlert” for Android.

Where I see a benefit for Collecta is: “What if the content has changed? Is the new content more relevant than the previous content?”

I don't think this can be answered automatically, but requires input from the user.

Case 1:

I was no longer aware that I already had the page in Collecta anyway. → I get the corresponding hint and that's it. (More or less how it is now)

Case 2:

I add the page to Collecta because the content has certainly changed or the content displayed NOW is more relevant. → Then it would be great to have the option of overwriting the existing page with a current screenshot (and presumably retaining the text description and tags).

This has never been the case for me so far and I think it would remain a special case in my use of Collecta.

Will Collecta also be expanded in the future so that changes of websites can be tracked?

I would say: let's make sure that the core functionalities work without any problems and then we can see in which direction Collecta can be expanded. ;-)
