responsive design vs Android app → search not visible on mobile phone

There are currently a few specific functions that hardly work on a mobile phone screen:
➀ Search field not visible/accessible in the mobile browser (Android, Firefox)
➁ Adding collections for new artifacts: update button not visible in portrait format
The question here is whether you only fix the most necessary things now and focus on an Android app in the future OR rather go in the direction of responsive design?
(Irrespective of this, I would definitely offer the Android app for sharing as planned. This function can (presumably) not be replaced by a responsive website and is also one of the most important features for me to save information on the go
In addition to an app that makes it possible to share content with Collecta from the mobile phone, a usable search on the mobile phone would be the second most important feature for me.)

Just wanted to add that this is NOT only a problem with a mobile browser. The search field also disappears in the desktop browser if the browser window is not wide enough.

Thanks, Sven!
The intention with the mobile version is for it to have at least the browsing capabilities. There're definitely some quirks here and there, given that the main focus was the desktop version.
As for the Android app, making search available on mobile version of the site would definitely be faster. For others reading, there is a mobile app feature request of course https://collecta.space/feedback/p/mobile-app-to-share-stuff-from-the-phone. It is likely going to be an iOS app first however. I'm more familiar with SwiftUI than Android development. With more funding & users Android will definitely be on the list!
Would just having a search on the mobile for now be a good replacement? We can reformat this into the search feature request on mobile and add it to the roadmap!

Hello Igor Lanko,
when I think about what would be important to me on a mobile device:
I want to be able to use the most important things on the go.
And the most important things for me are ...
➀ Finding the information
➁ Being able to store information I stumble across quickly and easily
For me, the first point would be to make the search field usable in the mobile browser.
The second point would be covered by the planned mobile app to at least be able to share content.
So, enabling the search field would be a good first step for me.
One word regarding priorities ...
Overall, however, it would be more important to me to have a good experience on the desktop browser. And at the moment, I'm missing searching for several terms the most (I've already submitted a request for this anyway).
